Claye has over a decade of experience working with organisations such as Defence, DFAT and Federal & State Governments.  He has been responsible for leading and managing up to 40 personnel on projects ranging from operational planning to construction, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief. He is a natural born leader, managing the North Queensland office in Townsville for Gripfast.

Throughout his career he has developed and delivered training on a regular basis, including performing the role of a military instructor in 2019. He has conducted extensive planning and coordination of complex health systems across a wide range of environments. This included planning and executing a healthcare system which enabled the safe deployment of over one hundred personnel to Papua New Guinea during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Claye was also the Senior Personnel Manager for the COVID-19 Taskforce Headquarters in 2020, during which he worked closely with Federal and State health/Government organisations.

Claye focuses on the clients brief to deliver on the strategic and operational requirements of the project while ensuring that all relevant stakeholders are engaged and remain supportive of the project for its duration. His outstanding leadership and communications skills are invaluable when dealing with a complex stakeholder groups, ensuring his projects are completed on time and within budget.
