Tyrone has over a decade of experience as a Clerk of Works and site supervisor. He is skilled in leading project teams in difficult and challenging environments where safety and quality control are paramount. Tyrone is a qualified electrician and qualified as a works supervisor/clerk of works through the School of Miliary Engineering, Holsworthy before moving to Townsville where he led a team of tradesmen and construction personnel on a number of Defence related projects.
Tyrone has run large project teams, responsible for delivering a wide range of construction and infrastructure projects in the mining, security and resources sector, including health support facilities, helicopter pads, vehicle servicing areas and soil testing laboratories.
Tyrone is an experienced leader, a sound communicator, and an excellent supervisor with a keen eye for detail. Further, Tyrone is experienced in stakeholder management and bringing disparate teams together to deliver great outcomes for his client. When conflict arises, Tyrone is a strong mediator and has excellent contract knowledge.
Tyrone is trained and experienced in risk management especially in challenging and highly reactive environments. These skills have proven invaluable on a number of Defence related projects in recent years.
Tyrone is used to managing client-side projects as a clerk of works as well as a project manager and would be an asset to this project.
