Bringing with him a unique combination of skills and experience across both the NFP and commercial sectors, Anthony is a valued and integral member of the Gripfast Strategic Advisory Board. Anthony is an accomplished C-suite finance professional with comprehensive experience at the Chief Financial Officer level across multiple sectors and disciplines. Extensive exposure across construction, healthcare, professional services, commercial operations, creative industries, and government & regulatory sectors has built a solid foundation of comprehensive skills and commercial nous.
Anthony is an experienced executive level leader, who has confidently advised fellow executives, Board members, and senior leaders. Currently, he is the Strategic CFO Advisor for Explorate, a freight forwarding technology start-up founded in 2016. He is responsible for providing strategic CFO services to the company, for the purposes of setting the financial strategy and assisting in crystallizing its first substantive capital raise after its initial seed capital raising success. Recently, as the CFO for Open Minds, he was responsible for all the operational aspects and financial processes of the company, including significant M&As.
As of 2021, Anthony’s advisory role at Gripfast has assisted in setting the strategic direction of the firm, with a reimagined focus on national growth and service diversification. Having attracted the best and brightest staff in their field, the Board has collectively set a mandate of increasing maintainable earnings and portfolio ownership. Anthony is responsible for having established key metrics to drive growth, diversification, and profitability of the company, whilst simultaneously planning staff retention and succession strategies.
